The Zohar Law Firm obtained a summary judgment against fashion company Fear of God, LLC, requiring them to pay $7,658,567 in damages, plus attorney’s fees and interest, and to restore a $2.5 million line of credit in favor of Zohar’s client, Art City Center, LLC. The case revolved around an 87-page heavily negotiated agreement, with the parties disputing the meaning and intent of the agreement. After explaining why his interpretation of the agreement was correct, as well as the applicable legal authorities, Zohar persuaded the court to throw out all of Fear of God’s claims against Art City, as well as grant in their entirety all of Art City’s claims against Fear of God without requiring the presentation of the case to a jury.
